Barony of Buckland Cross: Business Meeting February 20^th, 2025

Old Business

• Webminister and Chronicler position combined to be Communication Officer
  • Officers agree to combine w/ option to separate at a later date if group grows large enough to have a need for it
  • Chronicler to be given permissions to do Chatelaine facebook jobs
• Had bylaws meeting to discuss term limits
  • Want final draft of new term limits by march
  • Half of officer’s positions are up for election this year

Future Event Discussions:

A&S  Champion and Bardic Champion Event

• June 21^st
• Playwickie Park
• Zara event steward, Gwalchmai deputy autocrat for event
  • Need budget for event
• Planned A&S classes for twice a month (working on dates)
  • Sundays and Wednesdays at Nature Center are available
    • Possible Classes:
      • Heraldic Basics
      • Instruments
      • Hat class w/ Marguerette
      • Scrap-tastic w/ Jaz
      • Temple rings & arm bands

Officers’ Reports

• Seneschal:
  • Pt. 2 of Curia was Tuesday
    • (was not attended, but first part was much disagreement regarding titles)
  • No other orders or rules from higher ups
• Exchequer:
  • Done 4^th Quarter, all caught up and good for present
    • Account balance: $7, 745.96 for year to start
• Chronicler:
  • Newsletter and minutes need to be submitted
• Baroness/Baron: Nothing to report
  • (besides Andrutta absent when  Silver Wheel at 100 Minutes and given wheel tonight)
• MoAS:
  • Starting up classes in March
• Webminister (MoAS):
  •  nothing to report;
  • minutes needed.
    • Zara can add them to site when gets webminister warrant
• Chatelaine/Knight Marshall:
  • fencing practice going well
• Herald: 
  • barony heraldry, if all agree will be sable massacre per savant
  • Looking into creating baronial awards
  • Possible “Award of Tine/Point” ((would be equivalent to “Flame of Bhakail”))
    • Maybe forest themed
    • Deer themed may have issues as Outlands have many deer-themed awards
