July 2025 Business Meeting Minutes
Buckland Meeting Minutes 7/17/2025, 7:00pm
Attendees: Adelisa, Jaz, Muireadhach, Cailleach, Morwill, Kat, Andruta, Gwalchmai
Not in attendance: Exchequer; Chronicler – meeting notes taken by Cailleach
Officer Reports:
Exchequer:
- Balance $6981.02
- Summer sampler $174 in donations – Expenses $240 – Net loss $66
- 2nd quarter report submitted to kingdom
- Event report also submitted
- No word from PNC on name change for bank, involving Kingdom exchequer to get it changed. If we do not achieve success, we will be moving the account elsewhere.
MOL:
- No action, so short report
Herald:
- Heraldic title is up at Kingdom for decision TONIGHT! We should hear news tomorrow!
Chronicler:
- Has not heard back about warranting as webmister. Adelisa will get involved.
Webminister:
- Cailleach did submit this quarter’s reports, posted all things and minutes that were submitted
MoAS:
- Represented the Barony at May-be, doing a hot glass bead workshop with at least 12 attendees
- Tunic workshop went well – having another on 7/27
Chatelaine:
- Nothing much to report since last meeting
Knight Marshall:
- Practice is going well, still regularly attended
Baroness:
Getting ready for events after Pennsic; demo – bring stuff
Baron:
Been busy managing scribes
Old Business:
Demo:
- We have Rosie as a volunteer for youth activities
- Cailleach is our coordinator; Adelisa will be on-site deputy
Champions event:
- Bill – see if Raffie wants to marshal for heavy?
- Let’s confirm archery for GGG so it can be on the event listing with other champs’ – Cailleach can add it to the event tomorrow and still make Pikestaff
Other/New Business:
- Count down for Pennsic has begun the typical panic mode
- Reminder letters of intent due November for offices coming due for voting at December meeting
- September busy busy! Ducal; Demo; Champs; River Wars
- Recruiting classes for Fall MoAs nights: Cailleach requests we all bring Pennsic class info back with you to share; Adelisa wants to do a spinning class
2026 calendar:
We need to start thinking and planning ahead so we don’t get booked out of where we want to hold them
